The Wooden Sticks by Bill Evans, and The New York Billharmonic, under the direction of William Dilworth. Two artists from Jay, NY come together for DOUBLE BILL, friends who explore their response to the natural world through abstract and representational forms.

a diverse and divergent group of three artists sharing unique perspectives at the Tahawus Gallery, in Au Sable Forks.
Harris Billeci is a multimedia visual artist and photographer from the Mid-Hudson Valley. A recent BFA graduate from Ithaca College, their work is textural, nature oriented, and introspective. Recent projects include photographic composites, collages, and unconventional methods of making prints.
Dan Hausner, photographer and woodworker from Saranac Lake, depicts mostly rural and natural scenes in a range of styles and subject matter. The handmade wood frames are all designed and built by the artist. His work covers a broad range from landscapes and rural scenes to abstracts.
Gilles Lamarche, from Au Sable Forks and Montreal, creates artworks in acrylics, oils, watercolors; canvas, paper, wood; portraits and figures, barns and fields, landscapes, mountains and rivers, abstracts
and fantasy. His teaching and design journey has led him from New York City, to Florida, to the Adirondacks, and Canada.

Rachel Finn, always an explorer, her artworks are a reflection of her passion, curiosity, and exuberance for the natural world. Her digital video of images provides a provocative and whimsical perspective through her unique decal lens.
Alison Haas, the collage artist behind Wildly Pressed, designs with botanicals to create works with natural materials including pressed plants, ferns and flowers. The original result are fanciful, witty works of art.

An exhibition of images that stir the imagination, tell a story, transport you to a special place, capture a moment, and leave an indelible mark.
Rob Fountain is a photojournalist and portrait painter who lives and works in Au Sable Forks. The exhibit “Catching the Light” will have 30 pieces on display. This includes 18 photographs revealing various landscape photography of the Au Sable Forks area and beyond and 6 drawing portraits and 6 portraits in oils and charcoal and linoleum prints.

Five Adirondack Quilters
April 23 - May 30, 2021. A spotlight and celebration of creative expression. A spring exhibit.
Coming from the towns of Jay, and Upper Jay, Keeseville, Wilmington, and Essex, the five women showcased in the exhibit “Warmth and Beauty,” share their works and their unique stories of how quilting became a part of their lives. Fourteen quilts and works in fiber arts will be physically on display in the Tahawus Windows Gallery in a radiant exhibit.
